Wow, this is going to be difficult to post to the Recipezaar database until I actually make some (which I haven't done in years). The recipe is written out by her as follows:

    Cottage Cheese Noodle Buttons
Take a package of dry-curd cottage cheese (DO NOT use creamed) and add some salt. I never measure--suit your taste. Add a couple of beaten eggs, allspice to taste, chopped green onions, and some bread crumbs.

    Dough:
2 or 3 cups flour, salt, 3 or 4 eggs, warm water. Mix together and roll out. Cut into squares.

Put a spoonful of filling on each square and fold corners to the center, pinching to seal well (I'd moisten with a little water to get a really good seal).

Then boil in salted water and saute with bread crumbs (small diced pieces) in butter.

How's that for a vague recipe! Gotta love those old German cooks. I will post the recipe properly later on when I have time to make it and rewrite it. In the meantime, you can probably figure it out well enough to make it. You are on your own for the butter/cream sauce.

Let me know how they turn out when you make them.

Mmmm..oh I hope that one day you will get this one nailed down so you can post it..I'd love to try it and give you a review. Sounds so good. icon_smile.gif

Heather, my sister (whose MIL gave me the recipe) and I have set a date to make these when I am on vacation, the last week of May. I will definitely keep track of the details as we make them and post the proper recipe then.
