Praise for the Crockpot

well me for one loves my crockpot I will be back to get some good tips/recipes etc.

I love mine too and use it about twice a week or so. It makes it easy to work and have a good meal on busy days. On days I don't use it we eat very late or resort to the hot dogs/chips or pizza meals. Another plus for us is that if we make soup in the crockpot we can bring soup to work the next day. The one thing that hasn't worked for me is chicken, but I love cooking everything else in the crockpot. The other thing that I don't usually do is use recipes that have you keep doing something in the crockpot-I like putting the ingredients in the pot and put it on and go to work and come home to have a meal ready.

I love my crockpot, too. The best part is how the house smells when I walk in the door from work.

ode to a crockpot

when you want to use your crockpot,
and you have to make alot.

when you don't have time to cook all day,
and you just want to go out and play.

in your "zaar" cookbook,
just take a peek at what you can cook.

I love it, BUT because I am an at-home mommy it drives me crazy. Smells too good for too long. I think I start to snack too much because I am waiting too long for my food to cook.
