Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
I want to make a chocolate danish dough were their is chocolate in the dough itself. Can I do this? Thank Mean Chef, From Chef 189510.

I think Mean Chef is away for a few days so you may have to wait for a response from him.
I don't see why you couldn't put chocolate in the dough. I wouldn't use a liquid chocolate, however, because you don't want to add moisture to the dough. I think I'd try unsweetened cocoa powder or melted unsweetened baking chocolate. Don't be afraid to experiment. Sometimes the best things are a result of trying something no one else has done.

I have never made chocolate danish dough. My guess is that it had cocoa powder added.
