Biltong

A dried meat from South Africa. A mildly spiced and salted air-dried meat that has been a favorite in Sourth Africa for approximately 400 years. The word comes from Dutch with "bil" meaning buttock and "tong" meaning strip. The meat is seasoned with a blend of vinegar, salt, sugar, coriander and other spices.
