  1. Yummy on the tummy. Made these last night and packed in my lunch today and boy what a tasty treat. Wonderful smells and flavors when I opened the container. Made as written. Will be making again real soon. Thanks so much for the post.

  2. What a great way to eat tomatoes fresh from the garden! I halved the recipe and so enjoyed the deep flavors! A make again recipe for sure! Thanks Rita. Made for the Vegetarian Swap-Sept. 2009.

  3. This was a great tangy dressing with my home grown tomatoes. I cut them in 1/8th and it made a nice side salad to go with our falafel and pita. We even tried the two together. Very nice change from tomatoes on salads! Thanks.

  4. This is a great salad for summer since I have so many tomatoes! I loved the easy prep, and decided to cut my tomatoes into chunks since the tomatoes were different sizes. I also added a little bit of minced scallion to garnish along with the basil. Sorry to be late, Rita, but I had an unexpected dietary change and didn't know if I could switch recipes- and it turned out I could. I hope your trip to France is everything you imagined and more!!!! Made for PAC Spring 2008. ~Sue

  5. This easy-to-make salad 'speaks' to my taste buds. I love the strong flavours. Use the best tomatoes you can get. And eat this with both a knife and a fork so you are well prepared to fight off anyone who wants a taste. Thanks Rita! Made and devoured for Pick a Chef.
