Bbq Chicken

"This recipe came from my mom, who got it from who-knows-where, but it's a family favorite. This also works well with game, like venison, elk or antelope. You could also shred the chicken after it's cooked and have BBQ Chicken sandwiches - yummy!"

  1. Wonderful flavor. Will bake my bbq chicken like this always! I used for sandwiches. Thanks for the recipe.

  2. My husband didn't marinate it, used boneless skinless chicken breast, and grilled it. We LOVED it. My kids cleaned their plates and we practically inhaled ours. Can't wait to see how it turns out when it's actually marinated. YUM. Thanks for the recipe :)

  4. very good dish! The only thing I did different was add a small amount of Jack Daniels to the sauce. I too shredded the leftovers and am having bbq sandwiches for lunch.

  5. We had this for dinner last night. and used the remaining chicken in my DH's lunch box today in sandwiches. The chicken tasted excellent. Omitted the celery seeds as were unavailable. But stuck to the rest of the recipe and have to say it was a five star all the way. :) Fay (Yesterday was your day at my home, Kater)
