  • Brown Ground Beef in skillet and drain.
  • Add milk and heat to boiling, reduce heat to simmer and add flour stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Serve over your favorite toasted bread.
  • May need to adjust salt and pepper seasoning according to taste.

  2. Mom use to make this when I was a kid & now I make it for my own children. The only difference is that we add 1 tablespoon of butter to the milk.

  4. This is a hands down favorite! I would like to add a tip I have used for years, drain the beef, stir in the flour into the drained beef to coat, then add milk and salt and pepper and heat until simmering and stir. It seems to take less time for the gravy, I don't have to worry about lumps, I do this for tuna gravy also. But this is a great dinner, even over mashed potatoes!
     
  5. Edited to add that this is A SUPER dinner comfort meal just spooned over frozen/baked steak fries!
