ingredients

  • 1 kg berries (raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries)
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice of

directions

  • Heat berries in a large pot until boiling.
  • Add lemon juice and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Add sugar gradually.
  • Stir well.
  • Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stand for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in sterilized jars and seal.

  1. Very good instruction and easy to follow but how long would I water bath process it? That part was left out and I need to know to can it. How much in lbs is 1 kg? I need to know these thing's to even start making this jam. I only gave 3 stars due to lack of information.
     
  2. Made this jam last night with some blackberries I had in the freezer. Very clear instructions to follow. The jam set beautifully.
     
  3. This jam turned out really turn out great. I used 1 lb of strawberries, 1/2 lb of blue berries, and 1/2 lb of raspberries. ( I was cleaning out the freezer,lol)I will be making this again though. Thank you for posting
