Eggs on a Grill ( Candy)

"A fun snack to make and eat! This is a great recipe to get the kids to help you with. You can speed up the cooling time by putting the pan into the fridge for about 5 minutes. (Cooking time is cooling time)"

  1. I remember eating these back in elementary school and was so excited now to find a quick, easy method for putting them together. Delicious, adorable, and even funny-these are such a sweet/salty treat! I didn't change a thing and they came out perfectly. Thank you so much!

  2. The WOW factor is brilliant... DH and DD have their Birthdays one day after another so we have a huge double Birthday party. The kids *adored* these and so did the adults and everyone agreed that it was a novel touch to the *usual* stuff that is offered at parties here. Our pretzel sticks come in only a very long size so I needed to chop mine in half, so they aren't quite as neat and tidy , but the eggs looked so much like eggs that no one really noticed the rest LOL. Please see my rating system: a sunny side up 5 stars for a simple recipe that I made with DD and which grabbed attention and delighted all... these are now the talk of all DD's friends and She's really cool !!! Thanks!

  3. How fun! I made these with 6yo & 9yo nieces. They thought it was so much fun! We made 2 cookie sheets of eggs. Since I had some leftover Christmas green M&M's, we made the Dr Seuss version, green eggs on a grill. I put the cookie sheets in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to set the 'eggs.'

  4. These are too cute. I used yellow mini M&M's. I put the pretzels on the side and called them eggs and bacon. No matter how you do it, these are tasty. I too make them with my kids to give as gifts, usually at Christmas and Easter.

  5. I love these!! I have made them since I was a little girl. and they are so much fun. :) Every year my girls and I make them for Christmas. Maybe a bit more for me than them I suspect. *G*
