  1. I made these scones mostly for DH because he likes chocolate chip scones. But I still like them :) It was easy to do. I used the food processor to mix the dry ingredients and the cold butter. They have a great texture. DH likes them a lot. Thanks KitchenCraftsnMore :) Made for Name that ingredient tag game

  2. Very good basic scone recipe but it is still better to use BUTTERMILK rather than soured milk - you get a more moist scone with good texture. At least that is what I find. Thanks for a good recipe tho.

  3. These were yummy and easy. I used sour milk in place of the buttermilk. I also added some toffee chips. I had to reduce the oven temp to 400 and bake for an extra 10 minutes. Thanks!

  4. WOW wonderful, not overly dry at all!!. I did add a few extra chocolate chips. I've made anything like this before and very easy....I will be making these again

  5. Wow, these are great! I've made scones before and they were very dry and hard, but these were soft and light. We doubled the chocolate chips but otherwise we followed the recipe. I made my own buttermilk using recipe# 275034. They were gone in 1 day and I had to make more. Thanks for a keeper!
