  1. Rita, this was very good! Crispy on the outside, tasted like apple pie on the inside. Nice presentation, and easy to make! Thanks so much! I will be making this again!

  2. VERY easy and VERY tasty. I can't believe it actually turned out because I usually don't have any luck with apple pies and stuff. I love the braiding technique! This also has a beautiful presentation. Thank you SO MUCH for posting! Made for I Recommend Tag Game.

  3. Yum! What an easy and delicious treat! The only change I need to make in the future is to keep an eye on it when it's in the oven. For some reason (maybe my oven is acting up), the crust came out a little overdone at 30 min. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Could this be any easier? It was a really fast, very tasty treat that you could make on a moment's notice...and who's to know you didn't spend longer on it. I peeled and sliced the apples and added the sugar and spices, and took the dough out of the frige. Then I feel asleep on the sofa. DON"T DO THIS. The dough was a bit harder to unroll and the sugar had turned to liquid. I simply spinkled more spices on top of the apple mixture once it was on the dough. But it would have been better if I had not been exhausted and been able to do it when the dough was cold and the mixture still intact. No matter...it was lovely.

  5. Fabulous treat, Rita! The combination of flaky crust and lighty-spiced apples is irresistable. We devoured this in one sitting. I found it tricky to remove the entire braid in one piece, so I sliced it into single serving pieces and arranged them on a platter. Reviewed for Photo Tag '08.
