Grilled Tuna Steaks With Tomato and Herb Topping

"Great tasting grilled tuna steaks, with a bit of a bite from the jalapenos in the topping.....if you're heat sensitive, omit or reduce the amount for your tastes. Recipe is from Beth Kotek. Cooking time does not include the marinating and sitting times, or the time it takes to get your grill ready."

  1. Made this recipe for main reason I had these sitting in my extra freezer, after I bought these for Market Day at one of my kids schools, and also for the fact of the low calories this has. Now to the review, made these as written omitting the salt, and added an extra tablespoon jalapeno. The topping was definately super, and complimented these steaks. Also the soysauce, and lemon juice made for a nice mixture here too. Definately a go to inexpensive recipe again for the future. Made for 1-2-3 hits.

  2. Yum! Much to my surprise, when I got home and opened up my tuna 'steak', it wasn't a steak at all but steak chunks. Oh well, lol. I minced my ginger rather than grating it because I love it so much and like to have those little surprise bites every now and then. Loved the jalapenos in this too. Thanks breezer for an exceptional meal. Made for Tic Tac Toe.

  3. This was really good. The marinade was delicious and the tomato herb topping very tasty too.
