Mom's Swedish Meatballs

"One of our family's favorites. Taken from a swedish cookbook Mrs Malm got for my mother from Sweden. We usually made a thin white cream sauce in the pan the meatballs cooked in, or used a can of cream of mushroom soup. Have with mashed potatos and cooked vegetables."

ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1⁄2 lb ground pork
• 1⁄2 cup mashed potatoes
• 1 egg
• 1⁄2 teaspoon brown sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
• 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1⁄8 teaspoon ginger

1. Mix together well and fry off in batches.
