Wrecked Golf Cart

"My husband and I drank these a lot on our honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The first few sips taste a bit like cough syrup, but after that, they are very good. Serve over ice. It is also good to add a little bit of sprite to it if you find that it is too strong. Let me know what you think. It seems like you either love it or hate it! I just want to keep the recipe so we can remember Mexico! ;) UPDATE: 08/05/2009 since posting this like two days ago, I have made a few of them each night for DH and I to enjoy on our deck in the hot afternoons and evenings here. I have found that, if you use the ocean spray diet cranberry it is super yummy. Just an FYI!"

  1. I enjoyed this cocktail. The amaretto and cranberry juice combine to form a very unique flavor sensation that really works well in a cocktail. Thanks, SarahBeth.

  2. We liked the taste but something was missing so I added peach sparkling water. Thanks SarahBeth :) Made for 123 hit wonders

  3. This drink was delicious! I really enjoyed the addition of amaretto to the cape cod recipe; I also added a bit of Sprite, as suggested. These can be dangerous! I can't wait to have them again! Thanks for sharing, SarahBeth.
