  1. this was too heavy on the coriander to be the like the McCOrmicks one....will make again but cut back on the coriander. You also need to use coarse salt and pepper to be like the real thing.....

  2. Economical to make and it's great on steaks, fish and chicken too!

  3. Be watchful of the Sodium in this recipe - 2791 mg. This is not a healthy seasoning.

  4. I have never used the original, so I can't compare, but this is quit good. I have used it on Sweet Potato Fries, and on salmon filets cooked on the Foreman grill, and both were delicious. Now I guess I better go buy a steak to try it on :)

  5. Maybe overpowering coriander problem is related to what does the author mean by coriander. Coriander is usually the seed of the same plant that cilantro leaves come from. Both are dried. I grow coriander/cilantro and don't recommend using the dried leaves. Also the flavor of the seeds is lemony and much different than Cilantro leaves. When dried the leaves are almost tasteless compared to fresh leaves.

Tweaks

  1. The biggest change is to Replace 4 tablespoons of table salt with 3 tablespoons of coarse flaky salt.
