Angel's Rich and Buttery Pan Rolls (Bread Machine)

"A rich and delicious fluffy roll with just the right amount of crust and an awesome taste! Try it with all ingredients called for, then if you have adjustments to make, by all means go ahead! Watch for the coloring on the rolls as you don't want to get them too dark! :) *Preparation time includes all steps except baking; depending on machine cycle length. Make SURE you grease your pan or they will stick, even on non-stick! Use 1 tsp salt as noted below if you are not on a salt restricted diet. Same recipe as used for my Recipe #348652"

  • Add the ingredients in the order listed in your bread machine manual (per manufacturer).
  • Select dough cycle and push start.
  • When cycle is done, remove the dough to a lightly floured board, cut into 12 - 24 pieces.
  • Shape each piece into a roll and place in a lightly greased muffin pan.
  • Cover and let rise until double in size (about 50 - 60 minutes).
  • Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 - 20 minutes (depending on size) or till golden.
  • (smaller rolls will be done closer to 10 minutes - larger rolls closer to 20).
  • *Note: You may brush with an egg wash prior to baking (1 egg + 3 Tbls. water) or brush with butter straight out of the oven! -- or leave plain. You can also add sesame seeds or poppy seeds on the rolls after you egg wash them prior to baking! :) The possibilities are endless! :).
  • **For those watching their sodium content you can use as little as 1/4 tsp of salt and they will still turn out wonderful.

  1. What a great recipe. I have made this one many times. Recently, I wanted to make some savory monkey bread muffins. I took this recipe and divided it into 24 . Cut each piece into little bites and rolled 1st in melted butter and then into a 4 cheese blend (provolone, asiago, parmesan & romano), let rise and then sprinkled tops with Kosher salt. Bake 375 for 10 mins. Half of these were gone before we sat down to dinner. Everyone wanted the recipe.
     
  2. This is a great recipe! Melt in your mouth buns - no one would believe that I made them and that they weren't store bought. They are waaaay better that store bought!! I made them with the same ingredients except I used all purpose unbleached flour, normal yeast, cold butter straight from the fridge and I used powered milk. It worked great! Thanks :)

  4. I loved this recipe. I split the dough and used half for dinner rolls and the other half for a loaf. My husband and I are BIG bread eaters and love warm bread with real butter and sometimes a good jam or jelly. I found this recipe easy to use and plan on using again and again.
     
  5. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. It is easy, inexpensive and absolutely delicious. I would add a bit more salt for hubby, but for me it was just terrific. I even see possibilities for making it for breakfast using some orange juice and orange zest. Angel, this is a keeper and one that I am proud to have in my recipe file. Great job. Please everyone, try it, you will NOT be disappointed. I used the creamer, too.

  1. This recipe is a real winner and I'm so glad I found the time tonight to try it! I must admit that I have never baked rolls in a muffin tin before, but they turned out great...very pretty! And very tasty!! The doughball was perfect! Absolutely no adjustments were necessary! The ratios were right on the mark! I made 24 rolls and they had such a great rise that they were a very good size!! And they baked to perfection in 10 mins.! I used the dry milk powder instead of the coffee creamer. Next time I might use 1 tsp. salt. But that's just my preference in most bread recipes. Nothing wrong with the recipe as written, and I followed it to a "tee" using her measurements so I could give a good review of the recipe as she posted it....Which is.....I rate this one a 10!! Or would if I could! 5 stars here! Thanks so much for a keeper!!

I recieved him from a bus driver at the school I use to work at and he is one of the greatest blessings I have recieved. <br>I have two grown children and 3 grandchildren who live in Michigan where I was originally born and raised. I moved to Ohio 6 years ago. I love and miss my family very much but we talk often and see each other when we can. <br>My top of the list blessing was recieving a phone call by one of my grandsons all on his own. (mom didn't even know he called me...lol.) I asked him how he got my phone number and he said you were <br>number one on the caller id list...awwwww. ..I love him so much. <br>I live in a semi-rural area and enjoy the 4 seasons as I did in michigan. Although I live 225 miles away the weather is the same. Especialy in winter! brrrr...But I am used to it. <br>I love to cook,write poetry, sing, draw and sculpt and I'm planning on planting an herb garden this summer. I had three herbs in the front yard <br>but my neighbor killed 1 and the other died on it's own. (At least I think so...lol.
