  1. Nice and moist pork chops. I didn't have any sage so I substituted poultry seasoning instead.

  2. Wonderful pork chops. Tender and juicy.

  3. Very tasty pork chops. This is a very simple recipe but the pork chops were good and tender. I used bone-in pork chops and poultry seasoning instead of sage. They were a little overdone so next time I will shorten the cooking time a bit.

  4. Smells great while it bakes and was very easy! Juicy porkchops with flavor, although I added a little extra on all the spices and more salt. The onions were perfect and I made applesauce and mashed potatoes to go with it...great dish! Next time I will pour the juices in the foil wrap on top of chops to keep them juicy just before serving..

Tweaks

  1. I pan fried the boiled onions, added fresh mushrooms and the delicious juice to make gravy to moisten the pork chunks.

  2. Super easy and delicious! I also used poultry seasoning in place of the sage, and used dried chopped onions instead of fresh sliced onions.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
