What a great one skillet main dish!! I did make a few changes, I made my own spaghetti sauce and I topped it with mozzarella rather than cheddar, just a personal taste preference. I browned my ground beef with a 1/4 cup diced onions then drained. I then added 15 oz. can of tomato sauce, 6 oz. can of tomato paste and sprinkled in some oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Once that simmered for a bit, I added the cottage cheese and 3 cups of mini fusilli pasta. This was a huge hit with my family and will be definitely made again. I served it with Recipe #245490 and salad. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Spring PAC 2010.

This is a terrible recipe. For one, it doesn't tell you to use uncooked or cooked noodles. Other recipes like this say to use uncooked, so that is what I did. They were rock hard after one hour. There must not be enough liquid to cook the noodles. They need to correct this recipe in some way. My dinner was ruined and I had to through everything away. What a waste.

Hello... My name is Andrea. I am currently attending a university full time for my associates degree in massage therapy, which I plan to follow up with pre-med. I am going to be a chiropractor eventually. I absolutely love it. When I'm not in school, I am in the kitchen... baking. I got married a year and a half ago to the most wonderful man in the world. My husband is a truck driver so he's not home often enough for me to actually cook everynight. I often look for recipes for one or two. I absolutely love to bake however, I do it all the time. I normally take it to my parents though when I do bake stuff. (which my husband thinks is completely unfair) I love to chat with people so if you have any questions about my recipes just ask. Thanks
