  1. This is as good as any 5 star restaurant! It's fabulous! We had fresh trout, the sauce turned it into a fantastic dish! Thank you so much, Inez! We love your recipes!!!!

  2. We voted this the best fish we have ever eaten!

  3. I ordered a dish in Paris with trout and almonds that I just loved. So I looked for a recipe to replicate it and came across this one. I wanted to use a whole trout, not fillets like other recipes. This was delicious served with a rice pilaf like in th picture I posted.

  4. I made this ages ago and just got around to rating it. I don't eat fish so I'm rating based on the husband and guests. EVERYONE asked for the recipe. I didn't make any changes. This one is a real gem.

  5. This is absolutely the best fish my DH and I have ever tasted! The seasonings were dead on, they were an excellent complement to the delicate flavor of the fish. The only thing we did differently is I filleted the fish, as my DH husband doesn't like looking at a whole fish and I don't like the bones, then we fried the fillets about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. We don't like a lot of fish so we don't have it much, but this is going into our "Favorite Recipes" cookbook and we can't wait to make it again. Thanks for posting!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
