  • Combine all ingredients except chicken.
  • Marinate chicken in half the sauce for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Put remaining marinade aside.
  • Remove chicken from marinade, place chicken in foil-lined pan and broil until nicely browned about 10- 20 minutes per side(depending on the size), or grill on the bbq.
  • Heat reserved marinade and pour over chicken. Serve.

  1. I made half the marinade for near 1 lb of boneless skinless chicken thighs. But I used a small onion for half marinade. I used brown sugar instead of sugar cause I didn't have sugar. I omitted the salt and pepper. It was in the marinade overnight. Very yummy. We loved that. Thanks Diner :) Made for Holiday tag
     
  2. This was delicious. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts and boneless skinless chicken thighs. I followed the remainder of the recipe exactly, cooking it on the grill. We prepared it for a family dinner, and everyone loved it.
     
  3. This recipe was recommended by Chef #498271. I made it with all the ingredients listed but just simmered the sauce to thicken then placed the cooked chicken breasts into the sauce to warm. Yummy!
     
  4. This was excellent! My Dad and his wife were visiting and I made this dish. Was a complete hit and I'll make it again! We had it with plain rice and a Moroccan spice baby carrot side and all I got was "home run" comments. Love it.

  1. I am so impressed and sooo happy I tried this recipe!!! It was scrumptious...I only had two chicken breasts so I halved the ingredients...I saved a bit of the mariiade and heated it in the microwave for 1.5 minutes. I served the heated sauce over the bbq chicken. I served this with fresh baby potatoes and delicious corn on the cob. What an amazing meal.thank you kindly!!!!!!!!!!:) ****Update...made this again and it did not fail to please... I amended it slightly and it was equally as yummy....instead of ketchup I used bullseye barbeque sauce...what a delicious flavour!!!!

I subscribe to several cooking magazines, that usually, require everyday on-hand ingredients. <br /><br />I am not very fond of most seafood, but do enjoy lobster, grilled shrimp and chilean sea bass. I won't cook anything with rosemary or curry, as I really don't like either herbs' flavor.
