  1. I loved these! Very different, but lovely flavors. I used ground turkey, splenda, and added a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. I served on Sandwich Thins buns with lettuce leaves, thin sliced onion, and tomatoes. I will make these again! Made for Fall '09 Pick A Chef.

  2. this was sooooo good! it definately was very different from other burgers! but i loved it! its a tropical burger!! yum!!!! i def agree and feel like i should have an ice cold mojito to go with this! ;) love love loved it!!! will def be making these on the grill this summer!!! thanks for a great keeper amanda!! made for Recipe Swap

  3. This was a really different flavor for a burger and one that I really enjoyed. I felt as if I should be drinking a mojito alongside the burger because it gave me that relaxed summer feeling. I made a few changes to bring down the fat and calories just a little bit even though it was already pretty low in both. I used lean beef, splenda instead of the sugar and just the egg white of the egg. All of that and they still tasted great. I bet this would even taste great with ground turkey.

  4. These were fantastic! I love lime flavored things generally and this was no different. It really makes a simple food, extravagant! I went pretty simple on mine and just used lite mayo, pickle, and lettuce which was great and the lime really stood out. My husband used miracle whip, lettuce, pickle, ketchup, and cheese and he said it was super! So I think you can probably put almost any favorite burger topping and find it is still a wonderful burger. It is also great with a little fresh lime squeezed on top at the end.
