Sweet Mustard-Glazed Salmon Fillets

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a shallow baking dish, mix together the lemon juice, mustard, brown sugar and cumin.
  • Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste; place the salmon in the baking dish, turning to coat with the mustard mixture.
  • Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with fork.

  1. Always looking for ways to serve salmon and this one is a definite keeper. The flavor is so refreshing, sweet with a bite of mustard. I prepped the fillets on my George Foreman grill. My husband has asked for it again on several occasions. Thank you Paula!<br/><br/>Note to Rayndrop...your salmon was not fresh. Fresh salmon has no odor.
     
  2. LOVED this salmon. Tangy, sweet for a perfect combo. I used a whole grain mustard with great results. My filets cooked in about 8 minutes.

  4. We are not big fish fans... but this recipe was OMG so GOOD!!! My dbf said "this is as good as any salmon dish in a 5* restaurant"!!! Only thing I added was more lemon juice! Thanks Paula! :)
     
  5. Okay - this changed my mind about salmon. I was never a big fan, but just looking for that 'right' recipe to try and I think I found it with this one. The only thing I might change is a little less cumin. DH liked it, but said there was 'something' that made it just okay in his eyes. I paired this up with some brussels sprouts for me and peas/carrots for DH. Very yummy - thanks for posting !

I came to this site in March of 2004. It was then called Recipezaar. This site was the first on-line site that I ever joined. I first popped in 2003 while searching for a Peach Cobbler Recipe. In March of 2004, DH was having shoulder surgery and I was looking for a Split Pea Soup. Once again I found myself on Zaar as it came to be called. Over the years I hung out and learned from some of the best home cooks in the country, I posted over 700 recipes on the site, reviewed over 3500 recipes and posted over 3000 food photos. Over the next 10 years the site made many changes and in 2010 it was sold to to Food Network and became Food.com. Until last year we played games, talked and shared with one another. As a result of the community and the relationships I built I got to meet some wonderful people from all over the country. I also have a great number of friends that I have never meet face to face. Some of us still hang out at various places across the net. Zaar was more than a cooking community. It was an internet community of friendship. Life is an adventure ever changing.
