  1. A wonderful salad. Have made it twice now. We thought the dressing was too sweet so cut it back to about 1/4 cup of honey. Made it perfect for us. Also the second time I used 50/50 spinach and spring greens. So good! This is a keeper for sure. Thanks, KittyKitty for posting this great recipe.

  2. Quick to fix and different from the typical spinach salad. Dressing was quite good, not overly sweet but definitely had a honey flavor. Would be great with grilled chicken or shrimp to make a main dish salad. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  3. great salad! i used pears instead of mandarins as the boy doesn't like them, and i thought the pears went wonderfully. the dressing is unusual and lovely, thank you!

  4. Excellente! For you garlic lovers: we love garlic and I added two cloves instead of the recommended one clove. Garlic was too strong and had to compensate by increasing the other ingrediants. One clove works beautifully for this recipe. Didn't have walnuts so added oven-toasted almonds and some pineapple chunks. This recipe's a keeper!

  5. This salad is deliciously different!! I can't even begin to explain how the garlic compliments this sweet, fruity salad. I think if you added grilled shrimp it would be out-of-this-world! And the dressing would make a fantastic glaze for grilled shrimp or chicken. Thanks for sharing this unique "hidden treasure".
