  1. My guys are working on the house this weekend and I made a batch for them. I feel lucky to have gotten a photo before they disappeared! I made the cookies a bit larger and baked them for 12 minutes. Two of the crew came into the house following scent saying "What are you baking"? I am glad I poured some of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on a plate and then just added a bit more as needed from the bowl. Now I have a jar of leftover cinnamon sugar in my pantry for next time - which may very well be later this afternoon!

  2. This was so quick & easy. The family loves snickerdoodles and said these were great. I did'nt tell them they were made with cakemix. That'll be my little secret.<br/>Thanks for posting the recipe.

  4. I love snickerdoodles, and this recipe was no exception! I was craving something sweet, looked through my saved recipes (on Recipezaar), and decided to try these. Good move...less than 20 minutes from my craving to my mouth! What an easy, yummy recipe-thanks!

  5. I was a little skeptical about this recipe, I guess it was because I never made anything different with a box cake mix before, but I was wrong, because these are great. I made them to take to a meeting and it was so nice to have something to simple to put together! It takes practically no time to make them. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I'm a former Seattlite settling into the Austin area. When I started maternity leave with my first son, I had a little time to pick up cooking as a real hobby again. I've really enjoyed it! I've decided to only work part time during my little boys' first few years, so I'm looking forward to having plenty of time to experiment with my cooking. So far it's working out well!
