Georgia Peach

"This drink is a favorite among our guests when we throw cocktail parties! Sometimes I serve with a lemon slice and a maraschino cherry."

  1. Absolutely DE-lightful. I can see that I'll be finding inspiration from the bottom of my shiny new bottle of peach schnapps.

  2. Great cocktail! I only had about 1 oz of peach schnapps left so I also halved the amount of vodka ( and I used vanilla vodka). I still used the full amount of lemonade and grenadine however...and it turned out perfect for me. I am a real lightweight when it comes it liquor and alcohol!!! The taste was really refreshing and just the right amount of sweet and tart. Will make it again once I get my hands on some more peach schnapps! Edited 08.31.07: Just wanted to add that I substituted peach nectar for the peach schnapps and loved that combination also! Just a great combo of flavors!!!

  3. I would have never thought to combine peach schnapps and lemonade, and it was very good. Excellent flavor but a tad too sweet for me. I made another and left out the grenadine, added a good squeeze for fresh lemon and garnished with some sliced fresh peaches. I also used Crystal Light lemonade and the fresh lemon really brightened everything up. As I live in Georgia and it is peach seaon, I will be making this often. Thanks for posting.

  4. Big hit with the family back in california. Thanks a million.

  5. This was a delicious drink. I like the lemonade used with this recipe. Not to sweet and not to sour, JUST RIGHT!! :) I also used Crystal Lite Lemonade for this cause it was the only lemonade I had in the house but.... this drink ranks right up there beside a few other drinks that I will be making more of this year at the lake :) Thank you for sharing the recipe.
