Mint Julep

"This recipe is from Alton Brown and is the best Mint Julep I've had. It doesn't look like much, but it's very refreshing. The one thing I do is bash the mint and sugar in my mortar/pestle, instead of a glass."

  1. Delicious to be sure but it’s hilarious to a Kentuckian that Gentleman Jack is called a Kentucky bourbon

  2. this is my "go to" recipe for mint juleps. i use a strainer with cheesecloth to get all the little mint bits out of the drink. i also add 1/2 ounce of orange liquor for personal preference.
