Lemon Dessert Ww (2 Points for Entire Recipe)

"For a sugar free, low fat dessert, this is really good. Tastes just like lemon meringue pie filling. Be sure to use the cook and serve pudding mix, not instant."

Questions & Replies

  1. Is the measurement for the pudding mix correct? I couldn’t find 7/8 oz. Smallest I could find is 3 oz. So, used a third of that box, but it never thickened up and is just watery.

  2. It says I need lemon gelatin but the directions say stir in Jello??? Is it the same?

  3. Do you continue to boil the entire time you are adding the gelatin? Is it ok to put such a hot dessert right into dishes and then refrigerate?

  4. How many points?

  1. I've made this several times using the instant sugar free pudding mix. I mix the pudding and jello mixes together, slowling adding the water and it turns out perfect. No lumps at all.

  3. This is amazing! Just as written it's a keeper.

  4. I made this with orange jello. For those complaining about lumps with instant pudding....I used a Ninja to mix mine. I put the pudding mix in and then slowly added boiling water (electric tea kettle YAY!) as I had the Ninja running. No lumps no work. Threw in the jello and blended the snot out of it. I poured this into martini glasses for serving.

  5. Love it! I made this recipe with chocolate pudding & raspberry jello, and made a crust made of fiber one cereal (ground up in blender). So good and low calorie- total success!!!
