Peanut Butter, Lettuce and Mayo Sandwich

"My mom used to make these sandwiches for lunch when I was younger."

• Ingredients: 4
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 2 slices white bread
• 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon peanut butter
• 2 lettuce leaves

directions

1. Spread one side of bread with mayonnaise (Best Foods AKA Hellman's preferred).
2. Place lettuce on mayonnaise.
3. Spread other piece of bread with peanut butter. Sandwich together and enjoy.

I too grew up on PB, Mayo and lettuce sandwiches (or just PB and Mayo) Love them, somtimes I just crave one LOL. I also like PB, Mayo and Dill Pickle... I like it even better than with lettuce! Thanks for posting and letting me know I wasn't the only child raised on them. (I guess my mother was raised on them too).

Hey! I had forgotten all about these. My Mom used to make these for me when I was little too! EXACTLY the same way -- including using only Hellman's mayo! Thank you so much for posting this. I'm going to go make this for my lunch and I'm so excited I can hardly wait! :)
