  • Mix 6 egg yolks and 1 cup sugar until lemony yellow.
  • Add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Mix.
  • Add 1 1/2 pts heavy cream and 1 1/2 pts milk. Mix.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 6 egg whites with 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Beat until soft peaks form. Fold into above mixture.
  • Add 1 1/2 pts heavy cream that has been slightly beaten to thicken. Add 1 cup Dark Meyers Rum (or alcohol of choice). Mix.
  • Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

Work out of my house; like recipes for 1 or 2 and party foods for a crowd. I play golf for fun. I don't have a favorite cookbook but enjoy going through some of the old ones - I have a Watkins from the 1940s - we certainly weren't very fat concious then!
