Supreme Cocoa Mix

"I was in a search for a great cocoa mix that tasted very similar to the store bought kind. I tried a couple of recipes but they just weren't it. So, I combined a few of them together and came up with this! My family just thinks it is fabulous. You can substitute different flavors of pudding but we find Chocolate fudge works the best!"

  1. I have made this several times and as a real Hot Chocolate lover, I find this really good. It is easy to make and great for gifts too. I put everything in my food processor and it comes out perfect. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Very tasty cocoa mix, and it dissolves nicely too. I put mine through my food processor as another reviewer suggested. I prefer only using 1/3 or even 1/4 cup of the mix per mug. Thank you for the recipe. :)

  3. Love it soooo yummy. Used hazelnut nondairy creamer and added chocolate chips for a nutella-like flavor. I'm sure this will be a great gift!

  4. Well I think your Supreme Cocoa Mix recipe is fabulous too. To make it even richer, I used half regular unsweetened cocoa and half dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa and added about 1-1/4 cups of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips to the mix. Thank you for posting a great recipe!

  5. i've made this mix several times and it's so good! i make it w/ 1/2 splenda and 1/2 sugar and the kids really drink it up and i don't have to worry too much about the sugar content. :yum:

Tweaks

  1. Wow! This was delicious! I have tried some other hot cocoa recipes and none of them came anywhere near the yummy taste of this mix! Best of all, my hubby gave it the thumbs up. :) I did make one change when I made my mix: I used 3 cups of powdered sugar instead of 1 1/2 cups of granulated. I also used my food processor to make the mix into a fine powder since I don't have a good sifter. It worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing!--whinyard

  2. I have been making the same hot cocoa mix forever and decided to try yours since it used cocoa powder instead of instant chocolate mix. This made a very rich chocolate and creamy cocoa. Thanks PachefRebecca for a new recipe. Bullwinkle.
