  1. I had a carton of eggnog frozen from the holidays and I needed a way to use some up. Instead of 1 cup of bisquick I used 1 cup flour + 1 1/2tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt (no shortening). I also used 1/4 cup of egg beaters instead. I tried it first with 2/3cup eggnog and 2/3 cup of milk and it was a very light and crispy waffle. I got away without adding any oil too. I also tried adding all eggnog and no milk, but it was a lot denser. I'll stick with the half milk half eggnog next time. Anyways, this was great! Thanks a lot!

  2. Delicious! Made these Christmas morning and they were a hit. The eggnog flavor is there, but not too strong. So easy, too! I was told to add these to the Christmas tradition!

  3. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. I had eggnog about to turn so I just kept making batches of this until it was gone. It made 6-7 waffles per batch. I'm freezing them. Now we'll have a good supply of toaster waffles.

  4. These are excellent little waffles! Recipe made quite a few, so have some in the freezer for another day! Great with Wildheart's homemade maple syrup! Thanks for sharing ... I'll be making these often! Laudee

  5. On our 3rd snow day....these were great. Leftover EN from the holidays (lowfat), worked great. Thanks!
