  1. This was a great and very easy recipe! I used leftover chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, vanilla chips, and peanut butter chips all together and it was excellent flavor enjoyed by all. I can't wait to try it with just the individual chips alone. One awesome recipe! Thanks for posting.

  2. This is great! Another easy gift idea, and tastes good because I tried it before I packed the jars for the gifts..lol

  3. Prepared as written with Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips, making sure not to "whirl past finely ground" so as to prevent clumps. Nobody finished a single cup -- not even half! They refused to drink it. A total waste of ingredients. Sorry.

  4. Comfort Cafe 2009 PERFECT meld of chocolate and milk taste. I had leftover chocolate chips, some milk, some dark, and some mint. I used a bit of the dark and the milk for batch 1. As we are at temps of 0 here and witht he wind chill below 0, this came out to be perfect timing for DS bringing in the wood for the fireplace. I will be making abtch later today with the mint chips to add in some kick butt flavors. THANK YOU! This actually is quite cost effective as I have everything on hand and I love the milk better than the creamer. Thank you

  5. Delicious and easy! I also picked it for it's ingredients. The kids loved helping to make this too.

Tweaks

  1. Simple and straightforward recipe. I made mine into a Mexican Hot Chocolate by adding spices and omitting the marshmallows. Like the others, I chose it because it used dry milk powder instead of pudding mix or dry creamer.

  2. Fantastic and simple. I halve the recipe and add one package each of nonfat sugarfree instant chocolate and vanilla pudding mix. Once all finely ground it fits perfectly in an old 26oz. Swiss Miss container. I've even substituted butterfinger bars for the chocolate chips...incredible! Thank you so much...it is now a pantry staple!
